Matthew Schaller received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan Program in Immunology and also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich, USA. He currently performs research on the chronic inflammatory response. He has published in areas related to the inflammatory response that occurs during both chronic and acute lung inflammation. Several of these papers relate to the regulation of Notch ligands and their role in peripheral T-cell activation during immune responses.
