George Moschonis is a Dietitian-Clinical Nutritionist. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in nutrition science, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Harokopio University, Athens, Greece, 2007–2011, his M.S. degree in applied dietetics-nutrition, Harokopio University, Greece, 2004–2006, with a specialization in clinical nutrition, and his B.S. degree in nutrition and dietetics, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Harokopio University, Greece, 2000–2004. Moschonis received the 2009 Award for the 2nd Best Poster Presentation entitled “Dietary intervention with fortified milk in reducing cardiovascular risk,” 2nd Panhellenic Congress of Cardiometabolic Risk Factors, Club Hotel Loutraki, 28–30 May 2009, 2008 Award for the Best Oral Presentation entitled “Perinatal predictors of obesity in preadolescence,” 8th Macedonian Congress of Nutrition and Dietetics, Thessaloniki, 16-17 October 2008, and Award from the Hellenic Medical Association for Obesity for the Best Oral Presentation entitled “Impact of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ and δ on adiposity in toddlers and preschoolers in the GENESIS study” 17th Annual Meeting of the European Childhood Obesity Group (ECOG), Athens, July 5–7, 2007. Moschonis has many publications, including (1) international scientific journals (53), (ii) Greek scientific journals (9), (iii) chapters in academic manuscripts (1), and (iv) presentations in conferences (18 Oral and 48 poster presentations).
