Osamu Isozaki, holder of M.D., Ph.D. degrees, is an Associate Professor of Medicine II and Institute for Integrated Medical Sciences, Tokyo Women’s Medical University, Tokyo, Japan. Isozaki graduated from the School of Medicine, Yokohama City University in 1978. In 1978, he was a Resident of internal medicine, Tokyo Women’s Medical College Hospital and Clinical Fellow of endocrinology, Institute of Clinical Endocrinology, Tokyo Women's 1980 Medical College. In 1985, he was a Research Fellow, Laboratory of Biochemistry and Metabolism, National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Md, USA and in 1988 a Clinical Associate, Department of Medicine, Institute of Clinical Endocrinology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. In 1999 and 2003, he was an Assistant Professor of medicine. In 2011, he is an Associate Professor of Institute for Integrated Medical Sciences, Tokyo Women’s Medical University. Isozaki has been a Member of the Japan Endocrine Society since 1979, Japan Thyroid Association since 1980, Endocrine Society since 1988, American thyroid Association since 1989, Japan Cancer Association since 1989, and Japan Society of Human Genetics since 1999. Isozaki obtained the Medical Licenses of Japan and the Specialist of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Specialist of Thyroid licenses. Isozaki's research fields are clinical thyroidology, Clinical Endocrinology, thyroid Cancer, and autoimmune thyroid diseases.
