Qingtian Zeng received the Ph.D. degree in computer software and theory from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2005. In 2008, he acted as a Visiting Professor at City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. He acts currently as a Professor at Shandong University of Science and Technology, China. His research interests include the areas of Petri nets, process mining, domain ontology, workflow management, and knowledge management. He has published more than 60 papers on the international journals, for example, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics-Part A: Systems and Humans, Decision Support Systems, and so on.
