Andreimar M. Soares obtained his PhD (2000) degrees in Biological Sciences at the Universidade de Sao Paulo (FMRP-USP), Brazil. He was full time professor at the Universidade de Ribeirao Preto (UNAERP) from 2001 until 2005 and Universidade de Sao Paulo (FCFRP-USP) from 2005 until 2011. Since 2011 he is full time researcher at the FIOCRUZ Rondônia where he composes the research group of the Centro de Estudos de Biomoléculas Aplicadas a Saúde – CEBio. Soares, A.M. is Researcher in Research and Productivity of the Ministry of Science Brazil (2005) He has trained MSc and PhD students of the Postgraduate programs in Experimental Biology at the Universidade Federal de Rondonia (UNIR). His research interest focuses on prospection of bioactive molecules from animal venoms and medicinal plants.
