Gregory Steffan

Gregory Steffan works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Toronto. His research focus is on making multicore processors and FPGAs easier to program. He completed his Ph.D. degree at Carnegie Mellon University in 2003, after earning undergraduate and M.A. degrees from The University of Toronto. He is a recipient of the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation Early Researcher Award (2007), and he became a Siebel Scholar in 2002. He became an IBM CAS Faculty Fellow, and he serves as a Visiting Scientist and as a Senior Member of both the IEEE and ACM.
