Jung-Hui Tsai

Jung-Hui Tsai was born in Chia-I, Taiwan in 1966. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Ferg Chia University, Taichung, Taiwan in 1991, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan-Ocean University, Keelung, Taiwan in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 1997. He was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Chien Kuo Institute of Technology, Chang-Hua, Taiwan in 1998. He joined the Faculty at National Kaohsiung Normal University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor at the Department of Physics in 2000, 2002, and 2005, respectively. Since 2006, He has been a Full Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering in the same university. His research focuses on heterostructure field-effect transistors and heterojunction bipolar transistors. He has published more then 100 journal papers and obtained some patents in the III-V semiconductor field.
