Dae San Kim
Dae San Kim received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1978 and 1980, respectively and a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn, USA, in 1989. He is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. He has been following a position at Seoul Women’s University since 1997. His research interests include number theory (exponential sums, modular forms, zeta functions, and p adic analysis), and information science (coding theory, sequences). He has been an Editor for Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, and Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society. Currently, he is an Editor of ISRN Combinatorics, Open Journal of Discrete Mathematics, Pure Mathematical Sciences, Advanced Studies in Contemporary Mathematics, and Proceeding of the Jangjeon Mathematical Society. He has over 60 published or accepted papers in scientific and scopus journals like Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Mathematische Annalen, and IEEE Transactions on Information Theory.
