Kennerly S. Patrick

Kennerly (Ken) S. Patrick was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, in 1951. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1974, and his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Iowa in 1978. After a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropharmacology at the University of North Carolina, he joined the medicinal chemistry faculty at the University of Tennessee-Memphis. He is presently a Professor of Pharmacetical and Biomedical Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. His research interests include drug metabolism, stereochemistry, synthetic chemistry, drug-drug interactions, analytical method development, biopharmaceutics and bioavailabilty. Dr. Patrick is a Fellow of Clinical Pharmacology in the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and is a member of the Medicinal Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society.
