Simone Gusmão Ramos

Simone Gusmão Ramos is a pathologist who graduated in 1987 at the UFPE. She holds a Ph.D. degree in pathology with expertise in pulmonary (pulmonary cycle of parasitoses and pulmonary remodeling) and cardiovascular pathology (experimental abdominal aneurysm and cardiac infants—lesions after surgery to correction of cardiac malformation and SIDS). Currently, Ramos works as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, Brazil and Reseacher of the CNPq, Brazil.
