Wei-Jun Qian serves as a Staff Scientist at the Biological Sciences Division at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry at Nanjing University, China, and the Ph.D. degree in bioanalytical chemistry from the University of Florida. His research centers primarily on the development and applications of novel analytical tools to better quantify the dynamic changes in protein abundances and protein posttranslational modifications towards enabling system level studies of cell-signaling pathways. His research has appeared in more than 70 peer-reviewed publications. He received the Ronald L. Brodzinski Award for Laboratory Director’s Early Career Exceptional Achievement at PNNL in 2007, National Institute of Health (NIH) Director’s New Innovator Award in 2009, and the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) in 2011.
