Shia Chung Chen

Shia Chung Chen obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Northwestern University, USA (1984) and a B.S. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National TsingHua University (1979). Since 2012, he has been Vice President of Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU). His research interests include dynamic mold temperature control technology, microcellular injection molding, gas-assisted/thin-wall/multicomponent injection molding, injection-compression molding, microinjection molding and hot embossing micro molding, and computer-aided engineering/computer-integrated manufacturing of injection molding/membrane processing.
