Fumiyuki Ito

Fumiyuki Ito was born on October 29,1964. After finishing his M.S. degree in chemistry, supervised by Professor Y. Sasaki, from the Graduate School, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1989, Ito joined National Chemical laboratory for Industry, which was one of the predecessors of the AIST. He also got Ph.D. degree from the same university in 1997 under the supervision of Professor Y. Endo. Ito is currently a Senior Researcher of AIST and a Guest Lecturer at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. His research interests lie in infrared spectroscopy of molecules/molecular clusters in both gas phase and matrices and quantum chemical calculations of molecular clusters.
