Marcello Candelli

Marcello Candelli serves as a Consultant at the Emergency Department of A. Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy. He received his M.D. degree and completed his Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. degree in pathophysiology of metabolism and nutrition at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy. His main expertise is the study of H. pylori gastric infection and the evaluation of 13C-breath tests for the study of gastrointestinal and liver disease. He is a Reviewer of several international journals in the field of gastroenterology, and he is author of more than 80 papers published on international journals.
