Jonathan Peake holds the Ph.D. degree in exercise physiology from The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. His Ph.D. focuses on neutrophil and cytokine responses to exercise. In the the past 5 years, he has continued research on this theme and also diversified to investigate the effects of exercise and diet in the elderly and people with chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, prostate cancer, and kidney disease). He has published a book, two book chapters, and over 40 journal articles on exercise, diet, and inflammation. He currently works as a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland.
