Yue Li is currently a Full Professor at the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is an Editorial Board Member of Current Chemical Research and Current Nanoscience, respectively. He was born in Shaanxi, China, in 1973. He received his Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics at the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2005. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow or Visiting Scientist in Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, respectively, after obtaining his Ph.D. degree. His research interests mainly focus on the fabrications, applications, and devices of micro-/nanostructured arrays based on the colloidal monolayer template techniques, for example, micro-/nanostructured arrays by unconventional lithography, a low-cost route, for example, by combining monolayer colloidal crystals as templates or substrates and other techniques (electrodeposition, pulsed laser deposition, laser irradiation, electron beam irradiation, plasma etching etc.), investigation of biomimetic surface wettability (superhydrophobic or superhydrophilic surfaces with self-cleaning effect), enhanced photocatalytic activity, surface enhanced Raman scattering, solar cells with high efficiency based on such micro-/nanostructured arrays. He published more than 60 papers in JACS, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, ACS Nano, and so forth, and his publications has been cited more than 1300 times. His H-index is 24.
