Paolo Gibilisco is an Assistant Professor of mathematical analysis at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, where he got his Ph.D. degree in mathematics in 1992. He obtained new results in the followings fields: Fisher information, information geometry, matrix analysis, gauge theory, groups representations, and foundations of probability. He has been a Referee for the Max Planck Society, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the Tokyo University of Electro-Communications, and for many international journals in mathematics. He also organized four international congresses on his main research subject (information geometry) in Leipzig, Sestri Levante, Tokyo, and Pescara. Moreover, he has been an invited speaker in several international congresses all over the world. He taught many courses at the School of Economics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, at the School of Economics of the University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy), at the Politecnico di Torino, and at the University of Minnesota.
