Gregory R. Cook is a Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at North Dakota State University. His interests in teaching and research are in the area of synthetic organic chemistry. He received his undergraduate degree from Olivet College, in Olivet Michigan, and completed his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at Michigan State University, Mich, USA. He spent two years as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratories of Professor Barry M. Trost in Stanford. In 1996, he began his independent career at NDSU. He was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2002 and became a Full Professor in 2008.
