Toshiyuki Kanamori

Toshiyuki Kanamori obtained an M.S. degree in engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, in 1885. Dr. Kanamori worked at Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd., as an Engineer and at Waseda University as a Research Assistant Professor. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from Waseda University in 1994, he moved to the Agency of Industrial Science and Technology, Ministry of International Trading and Industry as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Polymer Engineering, National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research (NIMC) in 1995. Now, he serves as the Leader and Principal Investigator of Drug Assay Device Team, Research Center for Stem Cell Engineering, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. His research interests include polymeric materials for clinical use, transport phenomena related to biomedical system, and polymer physics and biorheology. He published over 100 research papers in international journals.
