Jing Lu

Dr. Lu is an assistant professor of the Petroleum Institute of United Arab Emirates. He obtained a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK, USA. He previously received a Master of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada; MS in Applied Mathematics, Virginia Tech University; Blacksburg, Virginia, USA; and MS in Petroleum Geology, Chengdu Institute of Technology, Chengdu, China. His Ph.D. research project is “Productivity Equations for Oil Wells in Anisotropic Reservoirs”. He has served as a research assistant at the University of Oklahoma, a reservoir analyst with KADE Technologies Inc, Canada, and an assistant geologist with Huachuan Petroleum & Natural Gas, China.
