Luguang Luo has been trained by medical physician (M.D. degree at age 24), molecular biology background (Ph.D. degree at age 32) China, and Postdoctoral training in UMASS Medical Center, MA, USA. He initiated his research career with senior endocrinologist Dr. Ivor Jackson in TRH and endocrinology at Brown Medical School, U.S.A. His significant contribution is to identify TRH potential involved in beta-cell regeneration. Collaborating with Dr. Quesenberry and having experts in hematology, his efforts have been focusing on human bone marrow stem cells and pancreatic ß-cell regeneration. Luo has been working on effects of Ginseng on pancreatic ß-cells since 2004. He is the Director of Stem Cell Biology and has published more than 48 articles in reputed journals and served as an editorial board member of journals. He is also invited to review CNSF and NIH research proposals.
