Urszula Foryś received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics, University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland, and the D.S. (Habilitation) degree from the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland. Foryś serves as an Associate Professor, Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, University of Warsaw, and Chair of the Biomathematics and Game Theory Section. Her areas of expertise are mathematical modeling of various ecological, ecoepidemiological, medical, and sociological phenomena, including tumor growth and treatment modeling, influence of vaccinations, immune reactions and immunotherapy, and modeling of dyadic interactions as well as finite and infinite dimensional dynamical systems, including delay differential equations and reaction-diffusion equations, bifurcations, and stability switches with respect to delay parameter.
