Shengwei Mei

Shengwei Mei is a professor of Electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, specially appointed professor of Chang Jiang Scholars Program, IET Fellow and IEEE Fellow . He is engaged in theory research and application of power system analysis and control, and takes the classes such as “Modern Control Theory”, “Automation Principle” and “New Development of Electrotechnology” as well. Currently, Prof. Mei’s research interests are in the areas of modern control theory, power system dynamics and control, reinforcement learning and adaptive dynamic programming and the R&D of the power systems in China. These researches have been funded by the National Fund of Science Committee (NFSC), the Ministry of Sc. and Tech., China, the Ministry of Education, China, the State Grid Corporation of China, and so on. Prof. Mei has authored/co-authored over 300 papers which include over 9 books, 200 journal papers and 13 invention patents.
