Jean-François Faucher

Jean-François Faucher was born in Limoges, France, in 1965. He received the M.D. degree in 1995 from the University of Bordeaux. He became an Infectious Diseases Hospital Practitioner and subsequently worked from 1999 until 2001 in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital, as a Clinical Researcher and Deputy for Peter Kremsner (Scientific Director). From 2001 until 2006, he worked as an Infectious Diseases Practitioner in the University Clinic of Besançon, France. He received a Ph.D. (devoted to clinical research on malaria, 2005) degree from the University of Franche-Comté and worked on malaria again, in Benin from 2006 till 2008 (UR010-IRD Santé de la mère et de l’enfant en milieu tropical).
