Han-Ting Zhang has obtained an M.D. degree and a Ph.D. degree. He is an Associate Professor with Tenure at the Departments of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry and Physiology and Pharmacology, West Virginia University School of Medicine, Morgantown, WVa, USA. Zhang has broad background in neuropsychopharmacology and neuroscience with more than ten years of research experience on phosphodiesterases (PDEs). He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers, most of them address important issues associated with PDE4, including memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease, antidepressant, anxiolytic, and anti-alcoholic properties; related mechanisms involving behavioral phenotype and intracellular cAMP/cGMP signaling are also of his expertise.
