Huatao Feng

Bioprocessing Technology Institute, Singapore

Huatao Feng got his Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore in 2004. He worked in NUS as Research Fellow from 2005 and became a Research Scientist of Bioprocessing Technology Institute since 2007. His early research area is mainly capillary electrophoresis and chromatographic techniques. With more than 15 years of work experience in analytical lab, various analytical methods based on chromatography had been developed and applied in environmental, immunology, pharmaceutical, and biochemical assays. He had been dedicating his research to the applications of chromatographic analysis in the area of biological pharmaceutical technology in the past four years. Assays have been developed for the monitoring of cell culture procedures and the quality control of recombinant proteins. Intact cell or whole cell mass spectrometry methods for mammalian cells were investigated in his group.
