Jacob A. Tennessen holds a B.S. degree in biological sciences from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, and a Ph.D. degree in zoology from Oregon State University, Corvallis, Ore, USA. After a postdoctoral fellowship in genome sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle, Wash, USA, he has returned to Oregon State as a Postdoctoral Scholar. An evolutionary geneticist, he is especially interested in using computational analyses of empirical population genomic datasets to study natural selection.
