Antonello Merlino

Antonello Merlino, Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences, has an area of expertise which is in the field of structural and computational biology. His research is mainly focused on the elucidation of the structure and dynamic properties of biological macromolecules, with the aim to understand the structure-dynamics-function relationship from a microscopic point of view, thereby aiding in interpreting biophysical and biochemical experiments. He is currently Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemical Sciences of University of Naples ‘Federico II’.
