Gong Yandong

Gong Yandong received his B.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from Beijing Jiaotong University, China, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. He worked at Beijing Jiaotong University as a Lecturer and later as an Associate Professor until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, he worked at the Network Technology Research Centre of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2002, he joined the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, as a research scientist. In 2004, he was also appointed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His current research interests include terahertz technologies, nonlinear fiber optics, fiber laser, fiber-optic sensors, and photonic devices. He has authored and coauthored more than 200 publications in reputable international journals and conferences.
