Raj Senani received B.Sc. from Lucknow University, B.Sc. Engg. from HBTI, Kanpur, M.E. (Honors) from MNNIT, Allahabad and Ph.D. in Electrical Engg. from University of Allahabad, India. Dr. Senani became a Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Delhi Institute of Technology, now known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), New Delhi, in 1990 and has held the positions of Head and Dean of various Departments, as well as Institute Director, a number of times since then. He is currently functioning as the Director of NSIT since October 2008. Professor Senani’s areas of research interest are Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing and he has authored/co-authored 140 papers in reputed International Journals, 04 book chapters and one book (research monograph) published by Springer-Verlag, US, in 2013. He is serving as an Editorial Reviewer for over 30 International Journals and is currently the Editor-in-Chief for IETE Journal of Education and Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Research (JEEER) and an Associate Editor for Circuits, Systems and Signal Processing (USA), apart from being on the Editorial Boards of 06 other International Journals. Professor Senani is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Fellow of IETE and was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI) in 2008 for his contributions to Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing and Analog VLSI Circuits. He is the recipient of the Second Laureate of the 25th Khwarizmi International Award for the year 2012 for excellence and dedication in research. His biography is included in several publications and numerous editions of Marquis’ Who’s Who (USA), International Biographical Centre (Cambridge) and American Biographical Institute (USA).
