Nabila Aghanim is a cosmologist at the Institut d'Astrophysique
Spatiale in Orsay (France). Her main research interests are cosmic
microwave background (CMB) and large-scale structure. She has
been working during the last ten years on the statistical characterisation
of CMB temperature anisotropies through power spectrum
analyses and higher-order moments of wavelet coefficients.
She naturally got invloved and interested in signal processing techniques
in order to improve the detection of low signal-to-noise ratios
such as those associated with secondary anisotropies and separate
them from the primary signal.
