Prabir K. Mandal is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, Edward Waters College, Jacksonville, Fla, USA. He serves as an Activity Director of Title III Grant for the Division of Mathematics and Sciences and as a Principal Investigator of Florida Department of Health James & Esther King Biomedical Research Grant and UNCFSP/NLM HBCU ACCESS Grant. He joined Edward Waters College in 2008 as an Associate Professor of Biology. Prior to his service at EWC, Dr. Mandal served as an Associate Professor of Biology at Mountain State University, Beckley, WVa, USA. Dr. Mandal earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in human genetics from India. His experience as a Postdoc at the University of Louisville and as Junior Scientist at the University of Hawaii led him to get a visiting position of Assistant Professor at the University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Fla, USA. Dr. Mandal has a number of research contributions in the field of transport physiology, reproductive endocrinology, and environmental toxicology. He has been awarded the "Disability Friendly Faculty" at the University of North Florida, "Most Popular Faculty" at Mountain State University, and "Ideal Faculty" at Edward Waters College.
