Vitor Costa
0000-0002-7868-4663Vitor Costa graduated in biochemistry and obtained his Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Porto, Porto, Portugal. Presently, he is an Associate Professor at the Abel Salazar Biomedical Sciences Institute, University of Porto and leads the Redox Cell Signaling Group at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Porto. His research interests are focused on the characterization of cell signaling pathways mediating redox homeostasis, oxidative stress protection, and cellular longevity, using the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model organism.
