Varra Rajagopal Reddy0000-0002-0327-8425
V.Rajagopal Reddy received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India, in 1989 and 1994. From September 2002 to December 2003, Reddy was a Visiting Research Professor, at the Semiconductor Thin Film and Device laboratory, Gwanju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwanju, Korea, where he performed research on ohmic and Schottky contacts to wide band gap semiconductors (GaN). Reddy has published more than 120 articles in referred journals and has been author or coauthor of over 75 conference papers. Reddy has successfully guided 12 Ph.D. in the field of advanced electronic materials (GaN). He is holder of one Korean patent. His current research interests are (i) ohmic and Schottky contacts to wide-band gap semiconductors, (ii) polymer-based Schottky contacts to InP, (iii) surface analysis of III-V and II-VI semiconductors, and (iv) deep level studies in wide band gap semiconductors such as GaN, ZnO.
