Shah Alam Khan works as an Associate Professor of orthopedics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He got his M.S. degree in orthopedics from the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh, India and subsequently got his board qualification from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in orthopedic surgery. Following his training in India, he was trained in the United Kingdom where he completed his M.R.C.S. degree in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and F.R.C.S. degree in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He completed his M.Ch. degree in orthopedics from the University of Liverpool. Dr. Khan is a keen Researcher and has more than eighty publications to his credit. He works presently as the Assistant Editor of the Indian Journal of Orthopedics and is the Chairperson of the Orthopedic Research Foundation of the Indian Orthopedic Association. He is on the Editorial Board of a number of national and international journals. His areas of clinical interest are pediatric orthopedics and musculoskeletal oncology.
