Frantisek Foret
Frantisek Foret is currently the Deputy Director for science at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry in Brno, Czech Republic. He is also the Head of the Department of Bioanalytical Instrumentation, which he formed in 2001 after spending over ten years as a Research Group Leader at the Barnett Institute in Boston. He is well known for his works on capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry interfacing including microfluidics. His current research interests include capillary separation techniques for bioanalysis, laser-based detection, mass spectrometry, microfluidics, and nanotechnology. As a Deputy Editor of Electrophoresis, he is editing the yearly special issue on Miniaturization and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Chromatography, Journal of Separation Science, and Current Analytical Chemistry.
