Michihiko Sone

Michihiko Sone studied at Nagoya University School of Medicine and Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya, Japan (1981–1987). From 1991 to 1992, he was a Guest Researcher at Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. Moreover, he was a Visiting Instructor at the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Minnesota, Minn, USA, and a Research Fellow at International Hearing Foundation, Minn, USA (1996-1997). Dr. Sone obtained the licenses for medical doctor and specialist of otorhinolaryngology in Japan in 1987 and 1992, respectively. Since 2004, he has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Nagoya University Hospital. He was also a Resident at Komaki City Hospital, Japan (1987-1988), a Staff Member at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Nagoya University Hospital (1988-1989), a Staff Member at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Chukyo Hospital, Japan (from 1989 till 1991), a Faculty at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Nagoya University Hospital (1995-1996), Chief of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Toyota Memorial Hospital, Japan (from 1998 to 2000), an Assistant Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Nagoya University Hospital (from 2001 to 2004), and an Associate Professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Nagoya University Hospital (from 2004 to the present). Moreover, Dr. Sone is a Member of the following societies: Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society of Japan, Otological Society of Japan, Japan Audiology Society, Japan Society of Practical Otolaryngology, and The Japan Broncho-Esophagological Society.
