Futoshi Asano
National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan
Futoshi Asano received the B.S. degree in
electrical engineering, and the M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees in electrical and communication
engineering from Tohoku University,
Sendai, Japan, in 1986, 1988, and
1991, respectively. From 1991 to 1995, he
was a Research Associate at Research Institute
of Electrical Communication (RIEC)
in Tohoku University. From 1993 to 1994,
he was a Visiting Researcher at The Applied
Research Laboratory (ARL) in Pennsylvania State University.
From 1995 to 2001, he was with the Electrotechnical Laboratory,
Tsukuba, Japan. Currently, he is a Group Leader in the
National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology,
Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests include array signal processing,
adaptive signal processing, statistical signal processing, and
speech recognition.
