Masaru Yamaguchi serves currently as an Associate Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo. He was born in Chiba, Japan, 1963. He graduated from Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo in 1989, and Nihon University Graduate School of Dentistry at Matsudo (Orthodontics) in 1994. He has licenses an authorized dentist in Orthodontics in 1996, and an authorized Orthodontic Instructor in 2003 (Japanese Orthodontic Society). His major research fields are (1) effects of mechanical stress on cytokine production in periodontal ligament cells, (2) periodontal regeneration, and (3) development of new material in orthodontics.
