Anthony Y. Stringer

Anthony Y. Stringer works as a Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine (neuropsychology) and the Director of the Division of Interventional Neuropsychology at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Stringer received his Ph.D. degree in psychology from Wayne State University in 1984. He completed his Clinical Internship at Lafayette Clinic in Detroit, Mich, USA, and his fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Florida. He is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology and became a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology in 2010. Stringer's scholarly work is in the areas of neuropsychological syndrome diagnosis and cognitive rehabilitation outcome with a variety of neurological rehabilitation populations including traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, brain tumor, and early dementia. He is the author of over 70 articles, abstracts, books, and book chapters.
