Huei-Ping Huang received his Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences from University of Illinois. He spent a decade working as a Research Scientist at NOAA Earth Systems Research Laboratory and Columbia University before joining the Faculty of Arizona State University as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with an additional appointment as a Senior Sustainability Scientist at ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability. He has served as a Member of the Editorial Board for ISRN Meteorology and Journal of Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering and a Member of the organizing committee for several renowned international conferences on fluid dynamics. He is a Member of American Meteorological Society and American Geophysical Union. His research expertise and interests are in the areas of geophysical and environmental fluid dynamics, weather and climate prediction, and remote sensing.
