Dr Stéphanie Leoy-Lhez obtained her doctorate degree in 2002 from the University of Bordeaux (France) under the guidance of Prof. F. Fages for work on conjugated fluorophores based on pyrene and 2,2'-bipyridine. Then, she joined the group of Prof. J. Michl at the University of Colorado (Boulder, USA) for a post-doctoral position and work on the mechanism of a reaction of photocycloaddition. In 2003, she joined the MoltechAnjou lab (Angers, France) as lecturer and worked with Prof. P. Hudhomme on superabsorbing fullerene and perylènediimide chemistry and spectroscopic properties. In 2011, she moved to the LCSN (Limoges, France) where she's interested in photodynamic therapy and chemistry of porphyrine derivatives.
