Anita Swami

Anita Swami was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India, in 1976. She received her M.A. degree in chemistry from University of Pune and her Ph.D. degree in materials chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL, CSIR), Pune, in 1998 and 2005, respectively. From 2005 to 2007, she served as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Marie Curie Research Fellowship) at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides, Université Paris Sud. In 2008, she was a Research Fellow at the Hunter College, City University of New York. Presently, she works as a JSPS (Japan Society for Promotion of Science) Researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, since 2010. She is interested in synthesis and study of metal and semiconductor nanostructures and their applications.
