Katja Strohfeldt

Katja Strohfeldt is a Lecturer within the School of Pharmacy, University of Reading, West Berkshire, UK. She received her Ph.D. degree in inorganic chemistry from the University of Wuerzburg, Wuerzburg, Germany. Her study was focused on asymmetric deprotonation reactions. She carried out her postdoctoral training in the area of metal-based anticancer drugs including their synthesis, analysis, and preclinical testing. Her current research interests within the School of Pharmacy focus on titanium- and germanium-based anticancer drugs including their synthesis, preclinical testing, evaluation of their mode of action, and formulation studies.
