Andrew Burns

Andrew Burns graduated from Brown University with a Ph.D. degree in chemistry. He has taught at Auburn University, Ohio State University, Northwestern State University, and currently at Kent State University. His research has been in ionic conducting glasses, in terms of structure and properties. Techniques used have been dielectric spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy. He has also studied rare-earth glasses, in terms of their synthesis and structure.
