Gerassimos Barbatis

G. Barbatis (b. 1968) is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He obtained his degree from the Department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1990 and his PhD from the Department of Mathematics of King’s College London in 1994. He has been employed as a Research Associate at King’s College London (1994-97), as a Visiting Professor at the University of Crete (1999-2001) and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ioannina (2001-2007). His main research intersts are partial differential equations and spectral theory of differential operators.
