Yanqun Zu was born in Hunan Province, China, in 1966. She received the B.S. degree in ecology from Yunnan University (Kunming, China) in 1989, the M.S. degree of agriculture in plant nutrients from Yunnan Agricultural University (Kunming, China) in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree from Gembloux Agricultural University, Gembloux, Belgium in 2008. Since 1989, she has been a Lecturer majored in agricultural environmental protection. From 1996 to 1997, Dr. Zu was an Associate Professor researching about agricultural ecological system. Presently, she is a Professor. She is mainly interested in remediation of soil contaminated by trace elements, response of crops on enhanced UV-B radiation, biodiversty of agricultural ecological system and forestry, and interaction of nutrient and toxic elements.
