Richard Siow

Richard Siow graduated from King’s College London with a degree in nutrition (1993) and subsequently received a Ph.D. degree in physiology (1996) at the Centre for Cardiovascular Biology and Medicine, King’s College London. Following postdoctoral positions at King's College London and University of Cambridge, he is presently a senior lecturer (Associate Professor) in cardiovascular physiology within the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence, School of Medicine at King's College London. His research interests in cardiovascular nutrigenomics include the effects of oxidative stress on cell physiology and the role of phytonutrients and endogenous antioxidant signaling pathways in the molecular processes that regulate cellular longevity.
