Mohammad Dalour Hossen Beg

Mohammad Dalour Hossen Beg has completed his B.S. degree in engineering in chemical technology and polymer science from ShahJalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh, in 1999. He has been awarded the Ph.D. degree in 2007 on the title “The improvement of interfacial bonding, recycling and weathering of wood fibre reinforced PP composites” from The University of Waikato, New Zealand. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemical and Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). Before UMP, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Waikato, New Zealand, and as a Lecturer at ShahJalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh. Dr. Beg has more than 12 years research experience in the field of polymer and composites. Currently he is working on synthesis of resin, biodegradable plastics, natural fibre composites, recycling of plastics and composites and nanocomposites. Currently he is leading 2 projects on green plastics and composites funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. About 10 postgraduates are doing research under his supervision. He published more than 30 journal papers including 1 book and 2 book chapters.
