Beng T. Poh graduated with B.App.Sc. degree in polymer science and technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Georgetown, Malaysia, in 1976 and a Ph.D. degree in polymer science from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. in 1979. She works as an Associate Professor lecturing in polymer science, rubber, and coatings technology. She has been invited to review many articles in international and national journals. Poh is a Member of the Plastics and Rubber Institute of Malaysia (MPRIM). Her current research interest is to study the preparation and properties of rubber-based adhesives. Following are some of her recent publications: B.T. Poh and Imran Khan (2012), ?Effect of testing rate on adhesion properties of SMR L, ENR 25 and ENR 50-based pressure-sensitive adhesives,? Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology, 26, 873-881, DOI: 10.1163/016942411X580063; Imran Khan and B.T. Poh (2012), ?Statistical analysis on the effect of the molecular weight and testing rate on peel strength of epoxidized natural rubber (ENR 25)-based adhesives,? Journal of Elastomers and Plastics, 44, 453-475, DOI: 10.1177/0095244312439449; B.T. Poh and W.C. Ng (2013), ?Effect of zinc oxide concentration and testing rate on shear properties of SMR L-based pressure-sensitive adhesives,? Journal of Elastomers and Plastics, 45, 95-103, DOI: 10.1177/0095244312445524.
